7th Season of Idea Studio Calls in for Participants with Impactful Ideas

Idea Studio Nepal has provided a venue for young Nepali entrepreneurs to develop their ideas into viable businesses and spark social change. Ideas for businesses with a social mission receive support, funding, resources, a physical location, publicity, education, connections, and more from Idea Studio. Through its national level Startup Incubation Program, it serves as a hub for budding business owners looking for guidance in launching, growing, and connecting their enterprises.
The entrepreneurial ecosystem in Nepal is supported by Idea Studio Nepal's collaboration with numerous organizations, including the government, universities, commercial banks, development partners, media outlets, and trade and industry groups.
ISN has seventeen primary collaborators that it is working with to bridge the gap between research and policy. To far, over 4,500 people in Nepal have applied to be a part of Idea Studio Nepal's sixth national program, which just wrapped up with the completion of Idea studio Season 6. To date, ISN has served as an incubator to 350 different companies. There are currently more than 65 businesses that began as an idea. Season 6 of Idea Studio saw 8,332 applications, from which 40 businesses were selected to receive incubation and mentoring. Greenovation, Social Impact, High Fly, and Made in Nepal are the four categories for which winners will be announced over the many seasons of idea studio. Through its nationwide initiative, Idea Studio has spread to all seven of Nepal's provinces.
