• We get wood and medicinal herbs from forest.
• Wood from trees such as sal, sissoo, pine, deodar etc. is hard and is good quality wood which is used for making furniture and construction houses, bridges etc.
• Medicinal and aromatic plants are the valuable forest resources of Nepal. 
• Extracts of dhatura and poppy seeds as pain killer and sedatives.
• The different parts of the plant like roots, stems, leaves, fruits and seeds are used for medicinal purposes to cure many diseases.
