Overview

Statistics about the community are presented, and needs are ranked, in the final community presentation. A report is a statement in writing and/or a document that is produced after an in-depth analysis of the causes, impacts, and potential solutions to a specific problem. The creation of a report's information or results is primarily intended to inform the appropriate authority or audience.

Basic Features of Report

Most of the reports contain 3 'In's in the report.

  • Introduction section: Introduction, problem statement, objectives, restrictions, list of tables and figures, etc. are all included in this section.
  • Information section: Information that has been presented in this area has been done so using Word, symbols, charts, diagrams, stat tools, etc.

Principles of Good Writing

  • When possible, keep your sentences short and straightforward.
  • Write the facts, conclusions, and logical interpretation necessary to convey your report's objectives.
  • Avoid utilizing jargon and figurative language.
    • Instead of being writer-centered, make it reader-centered or understandably simple.
    • Consider the viewpoints, professions, and life experiences of your audience.
  • Consider the front, layout, size, and shape to give the report a pleasing visual impression.
