Overview

Job description for the HP in charge: post-HA/Sr.AHW, level 1st class fifth level, qualification PCL in GM, sr.AHW, upgraded AHW, and reporting to DHO or DPHO. The yearly plan of the catchment area must be prepared and submitted to the DHO/DPHO. The PHC in charge must also assign the duties and goals of authorized programs to the PHCC and SHP for implementation and create an action plan and work schedule. Acute respiratory tract infection programs, TB control programs, leprosy controls programs, environmental sanitation programs, FCHV programs, TBA programs, administrative duties, and more are among the other functions. These include family planning programs, counseling couples on FP, treating the side effects of clients using FP measures, safe motherhood, EPI programs, nutrition programmes, control of diarrhoeal disease (CDD), and programs for ARS, TB, leprosy, and other infectious diseases.

Roles, responsibility and authority of PHC in charge

 

Planning

  1. Create the catchment area's yearly plan and submit it to the DHO/DPHO.
  2. Give the PHCC and SHP the duties and goals of the authorized program to be carried out.
  3. Create a work table and an action plan.

 

Family planning program

  1. Discuss FP with the couples.
  2. Please refer the couple who are willing to use FP measures that are not offered by PHCC.
  3. Often offer vasectomy and Norplant procedures.
  4. Set up a regular procurement plan for FP equipment.
  5. Utilize FP procedures to treat the side effects of customers.
  6. Give advice and direct a subfertility couple to greater facilities.
  7. Send couples who need recanalization to higher-level centers.

 

Safe motherhood

  1. Importantly, implement a program encouraging safe motherhood in the catchment areas.

 

EPI program

  1. Make sure to keep the immunization clinic in a location that is easily accessible to a large number of individuals.

Nutrition programme

Control of diarrhoeal disease ( CDD )

  1. Activate the CDD software.
  2. Teach moms about the risks of CDD, how to prevent it, and how to cure it.
  3. Examine the ORS inventory and make the required stock requests.
  4. Make plans for the epidemic's control and inform DHO/DPHO of the outbreak.
  5. Examine the rehydration solution supply and make the necessary stock requests.

 

Acute Respiratory Tract Infection program

  1. Give ARI patients a regular medication therapy program.
