It is a representative office for Marie Stopes International (MSI) UK, a charity that was established in the UK in 1973 and was first created by Dr. Marie Stopes. An international supplier of sexual and reproductive health services, MSI collaborates closely with local NGOS all over the world and offers partner NGOS technical and management support.

Marie Stopes Worldwide Nepal, an NGO that works closely with its local partner organization Sunauloparivar Nepal, was registered in Nepal in 1992. Local partner of MSI Nepal is Sunaulo Parivar Nepal, a non-governmental organization founded in 1994. SPN has carried out a number of programs and made a substantial contribution to providing family planning and safe abortion services by coordinating and partnering with the government and other partners.

It has increased access to high-quality FP/RH services across the nation, enabling individuals to freely and responsibly exercise their inalienable right to enjoy gratifying SRH. It now offers services in 45 districts of the nation.

  • MS Ladies
    • Marie Stopes Ladies travel to rural populations to deliver comprehensive family planning services to rural population and to extend itsreach further. MS Ladies are trained midwives or nurses dedicated to offering family planning services in underserved, densely populated and hard to reach areas. They provide  services like Combined Oral Contraceptives Pills, Injectable contraceptives, condom, Implant, IUDs.

    • All outreach services are client focused, ensuring clients receive individual, private counselling on all methods that are appropriate for his or her fertility intentions, lifestyle preferences, and medical eligibility. Its outreach teams have built a reputation across Nepal for providing quality services in hard-to-reach and rural locations.
