Nepal Nursing Council (NNC) is a legislative entity designated and approved by the Nepali government for the systematic control of the country's nursing profession. It is a self-governing organization led by an executive board of registered nurses. The Nepal Nursing Council (NNC) was created by the Nepal Nursing Council Act 2052. (1996). It becomes effective on 2053-03-02. (16 June 1996). The role, functions, duties, and power of the council are to formulate policy required to run the nursing profession smoothly, to provide recognition to a teaching institution, to evaluate and review the curriculum, terms, and conditions of admission, to determine the work limit of nursing professionals, and to formulate a professional code of conduct for nursing professionals.
