The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) is the global humanitarian organization of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Through international network, ADRA delivers relief and development assistance to individuals in more than 130 countries-regardless of their ethnicity, political affiliation, or religious association.

ADRA Nepal aspires to be one of the government's most active and dependable partners for promoting wellbeing for people of all ages and ensuring healthy lives. as well as for attaining food and nutrition security and ending hunger (SDG 2
Sector Capacity).
With a focus on women and underprivileged communities, ADRA Nepal works to advance economic growth and food security among economically disadvantaged demographic groups. Smallholder farmers' livelihoods are helped through agricultural extension services, production/processing techniques, communal marketing systems, and value chain integration. Commercial vegetable farming, livestock raising, the production of essential oils, and related microenterprise development are some of the tools that are encouraged.
By educating community business facilitators, agrovets, and animal health workers, as well as by developing local capacity and mobilizing local resources through leadership and management training, it enhances the input service markets. All of this is done in close cooperation with the local government and community.

ADRA Nepal is recognized as; a lead support agency in assisting district level Disaster Preparedness and Response Planning (DPRP) initiatives. Our emergency response to the Nepal earthquake of 2015; involved providing direct assistance to over 150,000 families in close co-ordination with the Nepal government.

For the establishment of libraries and the construction/repair of school facilities, the education program collaborates closely with ADRA Connections. Its non-formal education component includes business management training for women and educating smallholder farmers about contemporary farming techniques. Adults, especially older women, may now get formal literacy instruction to help them realize their full potential. Additionally, ADRA Nepal has expertise working with children affected by violence, ex-child soldiers, and school dropouts to provide education, vocational training, and psychological assistance. The promotion of child- and adolescent-friendly schools, the upkeep of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) facilities, and the improvement of SMC and PTAS capabilities are prioritized in its approach to education.
